Stone details
A natural cushion of 1.03 carats, graded F colour and VS1 clarity. F is colourless to the eye, the last of the truly colourless grades, and VS1 means very slightly included under ten times magnification.
A cushion softens the corners of a square, giving broader flashes of light than a round and a distinctly antique character.
It measures 5.87 x 5.46 x 3.70 mm, with a table of 61.0% and a total depth of 67.8%. Polish and symmetry are both excellent, the girdle is medium to slightly thick, the culet none, and it shows no fluorescence.
Certified by GIA under report number 3515704107, which you can verify on the GIA website. Supplied loose and ready for setting; our workshop can mount it in solid 14, 18 or 22 carat gold through the bespoke service, hallmarked in London before delivery.
