Reading your hallmark
Every gold piece we sell is hallmarked at The Goldsmiths' Company Assay Office in London before it reaches you. Hallmarking is the UK's oldest form of consumer protection, an independent test of the precious metal, struck into the piece itself. It is required by law for gold items over one gram, and we apply it to every qualifying piece we dispatch.

The Dealer's Notice
UK law requires jewellery dealers to display the statutory Dealer's Notice, published by the British Hallmarking Council, which explains the approved hallmarks in full. You can view the notice on the British Hallmarking Council website at britishhallmarkingcouncil.gov.uk, and a copy is available from us on request.
