Stone details
1.31 carats, cushion cut, graded E VVS1. E is colourless, second only to D on the scale, and VVS1 means very very slightly included under ten times magnification.
A cushion softens the corners of a square, giving broader flashes of light than a round and a distinctly antique character.
It measures 7.46 x 5.78 x 3.83 mm, with a table of 63.0% and a total depth of 66.3%. Polish and symmetry are both excellent, the girdle is slightly thick to thick, and it shows no fluorescence.
Certified by IGI under report number 801674287, which you can verify on the IGI website. Supplied loose and ready for setting; our workshop can mount it in solid 14, 18 or 22 carat gold through the bespoke service, hallmarked in London before delivery.
