Stone details
A 1.48 carat emerald cut, F in colour and VVS2 in clarity, grown above ground. F is colourless to the eye, the last of the truly colourless grades, and VVS2 means very very slightly included under ten times magnification.
The emerald cut trades sparkle for clarity of line, its long step facets opening into the stone like a hall of mirrors.
It measures 7.62 x 5.41 x 3.67 mm, with a table of 63.0% and a total depth of 67.8%. Polish and symmetry are both excellent, the girdle is medium, and it shows no fluorescence.
Certified by IGI under report number 814608951, which you can verify on the IGI website. Supplied loose and ready for setting; our workshop can mount it in solid 14, 18 or 22 carat gold through the bespoke service, hallmarked in London before delivery.
