Stone details
0.70 carats, asscher cut, graded G VS1. G is near-colourless, showing no tint in a finished setting, and VS1 means very slightly included under ten times magnification.
The asscher is a square step cut with cropped corners, a 1920s shape that rewards high clarity with a deep hall-of-mirrors effect.
It measures 4.83 x 4.77 x 3.28 mm, with a table of 65.0% and a total depth of 68.7%. Polish is excellent and symmetry very good, the girdle is slightly thick to thick, the culet none, and it shows no fluorescence.
Certified by GIA under report number 7548748597, which you can verify on the GIA website. Supplied loose and ready for setting; our workshop can mount it in solid 14, 18 or 22 carat gold through the bespoke service, hallmarked in London before delivery.
