Stone details
1.54 carats, cushion cut, graded E VVS1. E is colourless, second only to D on the scale, and VVS1 means very very slightly included under ten times magnification.
A cushion softens the corners of a square, giving broader flashes of light than a round and a distinctly antique character.
It measures 6.85 x 6.26 x 4.22 mm, with a table of 64.0% and a total depth of 67.4%. Polish and symmetry are both excellent, the girdle is medium to thick, the culet none, and it shows no fluorescence.
Certified by GIA under report number 3545243435, which you can verify on the GIA website. Supplied loose and ready for setting; our workshop can mount it in solid 14, 18 or 22 carat gold through the bespoke service, hallmarked in London before delivery.
